"Thank you for contacting Lenmar.
The Meridian is MFi certified (tested and approved by Apple). It charges both iPhone 5 and iPhone 5s smart phones. With the update to iOS7, there were some issues that were created. We have worked with Apple on these and they have created an update to the iOS to iOS 7.0.2 which have rectified these charging issues. It has also changed the method in which you should charge your case and phone in order to get the best performance from the case.
Now, to charge, the case MUST be turned on BEFORE is it attached to charge in order for the charge to go to the phone first. Once the phone is completely charged, the case will then begin to charge. This is the only thing that has changed since the iOS updates.
