Leopard $9.95 upgrade in store?

Hello:

I bought a new Macbook on 10/24 from a local Apple store. I was told that I could come back into the store on 10/26 for the Leopard upgrade for $9.95. I went into another store tonight (10/26) and was told that it was only available through the mail in program--not in store.

Not a huge deal, but I was wondering if anyone did the $9.95 upgrade in the store.

As the discs are different, I can pretty much promise you it is only available by the online/mail update order.

Thanks. That's what I thought. Seems to jive with what the Apple site says. I still got the free t-shirt at the store though, so it wasn't a wasted trip.
