Either this is a Leopard problem or Airport Extreme problem, but when I have a printer and two external hard drives connected via a USB hub, only one hard drive will mount.

I go to Finder, click on my router name and it shows both available hard drives. If I click on one, it'll mount that, and then I won't be able to access the 2nd.

This problem disappears if I unplug the printer from the USB hub.

Anyone else experience this, or know of a possible solution?

I used to have a similar problem in tiger and before upgrading to the latest Airtport Extreme firmware. If i had 2 drives and a printer connected through a USB hub, either one of the disks or the printer went away, until unpluging the hub or restarting the airport.

Now, in Leopard the Airport connection seems to be erratic an sometimes the AirDisk disapears for moments. I found kind of a work around changing the password in the disk sharing section of the Airport Utility, I also deleted any previous Airdisk entries in the keychain. Airdisk seems to be more stable now. The printer always shows up without a problem.

Hope this helps,

Cheers :apple:
