Leopard And Apple Resellers

I have just moved to Adelaide in Australia and there is no "official" Apple store here but there is a dedicated Apple reseller here.

Does anyone have experience of buying OS X from a reseller shop? I'm just wondering how likely they are to have it on release day. I can't preorder from Apple as I don't have a secure mailing address at the moment.

How long am I likely to have to wait do you reckon?
