Just wondering if Leopard has fixed the problem with Display color and Fast User Switching.

Here's the problem currently with Tiger.

  • User 1 is logged in.
  • User 2 switches to their account with Fast User Switching.
  • User 1 switches back.
  • The color profile in User 1's preferences changes to Apple RGB (or something similar) and can not be changed.
  • User 1 must log out and log back in to fix the problem.

I'm pretty certain this has been fixed. This was a major gripe of mine with Tiger, and I've tested it quite a few times now on two computers (C2D iMac and MBP) with Leopard installed with multiple accounts on each, and I haven't seen the issue once.

Good to hear.
I will be putting it to the test sometime tomorrow evening once I get all my data backed up and install the new cat.

It was one bug in Tiger that Apple seemed to not want to fix in 10.4.7 - 10.4.10 (probably still not fixed in 10.4.11).
