If you buy a Mac now from an Apple Reseller, are you entitled to a free upgrade come end of the month?

Yes, as long as it's a new mac.

Aha, thanx alot. My local Apple reseller is quite greedy so I need to know where I stand. Will contact him tomorrow.

If you buy through a reseller, the Leopard upgrade will still come via Apple with their Up-To-Date program I believe. You won't be able to just walk into your reseller and grab a box of Leopard off the shelf, its all done online. Your reseller won't be involved in the whole upgrade, so there is no way they can try to charge you more for it.
