also i need to run windows for a program in bootcamp, xp or vista, and also will my comp be able to run it....and also what is the default OS for bootup is it OSX can you set it?

cheers thanks chris

Yes your macbook can handle both just fine.

The default OS is going to be OS X. Although when you install Windows it'll set itself to the default OS at first, you can always change it back through the Control Panel though.

Control Panel in Windows.

You can do it in System Preferences in OS X as well. It's titled 'Startup Disk'. :)
