AppleInsider reports that new Leopard build (9A527) will be released this weekend, along with a request for developers to extensively test the build. Meanwhile, MacScoop reports that Leopard is "heading towards the release of a Final Candidate build for late August or the first week of Septemeber"

if true, this better be the next to last build before going gold. They're running out of time even for a 30th or 31st shipping date. Hope the Leopard boxes are at least ready for shipping. I would suspect at least 50,000 orders on launch date. Plus, in theory, every Mac available in retail stores the next day will need to have Leopard on it.

I am downloading it now from ADC, from the seed notes there are still some showstoppers for me to completely try this build and ditch Tiger for good.
