Leopard: cant log out of main account and into guest account

When I try to log out of my main account it just sits at a blue screen with the spinning circle until I actually power off the machine. Any ideas? Delete guest account and make a new one?

Although I cannot help remedy your situation, it is not possible to delete the Guest account.

I have it working now. An old guest account was causing the problem apparently.

In Tiger I had created an account called guest and when I did archive/install it carried over. Once I deleted that everything works fine. You are right though, the "Guest account" is not able to be deleted.
