Leopard clean install & iLife 08 upgrade drop in disc

right now im running tiger. i had ilife 06 from the factory and i have a ilife 08 drop-in-dvd (not the retail boxed copy).

if i do a clean install with leopard and then try to install ilife 08, will the upgrade ilife disc search for ilife 06 first or will it act just like a retail disc?

or will i have to install leopard, install ilife 06 from my grey system restore disc, and then install ilife 08. im hoping i can skip the ilife 06 install

Pretty sure your iLife 08 disk is a full copy.

its a full copy. i have the exact same thing and i just used the ilife 08 dvd.

Do you lose Garage Band?

Just curious since I don't think its included in iLife 08

That's an odd statement. Why would you think that? It's listed on Apple's iLife website. To me, it would be silly not to include it. The program has been a runaway success!
