Not where you live.
Hi all.

I upgraded my MacBook Pro to Leopard a couple of weeks ago and have had no problems at all.

Last weekend I upgraded my 24" white iMac and now whenever I wake it up from sleep my desktop is unresponsive. The icons on the desktop are just like a part of the wallpaper. I can't click on them. The machine is fully responsive, I can get to everything by using the Finder but the desktop is dead. I also installed the 10.5.1 update.

I did an upgrade from Tiger and it went really well. So I didn't do an Erase and Install.

Anyone else have the same problem?

Cheers.

Fixed my own problem

It turns out that this problem was not appearing when waking from sleep, rather it was when the screen saver was activated.

I was using a screen saver called lotsa water, and it seems that what the screen saver does is to take a picture of the desktop, then create the water effect on the picture.

And when this screen saver was running under Leopard, it was not taking the picture away, just the water effect, so the desktop was just a picture of itself.

Anyway, changing the screen saver fixed the problem.
