Leopard, do I need acrobat reader?

Since we have preview, is acrobat reader actually needed for something that I'm missing?

For most people, Preview is plenty...especially just for viewing documents...

Preview could open pdfs in Tiger.

I personally don't use Acrobat reader at all.

I have never found the need for reader on my system. When I first got my MacBook, i came across a pdf for school and was in the process of getting reader, but noticed that the file had a unique icon, so I double clicked it. No reader for me after that.

Preview has been able to do this since Tiger.

You can add it as a "note" from the Tools > Annotate menu.
