Okay I now have leopard installed, and when I turn my mbp on it goes to a blue screen for a couple seconds. My question is why doesnt it show a progress bar like it did with leopard?

yeah, every time. Was just wondering if It was suppose to show that botting screen?

ok, well i guess if it's not broke don't fix it. I runs great.

Ya.. dont worry. Even my 700MHz eMac does not have one. as silly as it sound, I think drawing up that OS X window and process bar added a second or two to boot time. Which is not biggy, but OS X boots so fast in the first place. Looks like Apple went away with it.

Oddly, thats how it was in the older systems :) Like system 1 thru 6 I think. System 7 introduced the loading extension icons (miss those) and progress bar, I think....
