Leopard: Hide at login not working?

Hi,

In my login-items I checked the Hide box for Mail, but Mail still shows up when starting up.. Anyone else experiencing this?

I'm sorry for bumping this, but can anyone report if this works for them?

Can't imagine no-one has Mail marked Hidden at startup..

this is a known issue with mail. it was the same on tiger. i hoped apple fixed it for leopard though

Did not know that! At least now I know that the issue isn't only on my end..
