I recently upgraded from Tiger to Leopard and from PS 7 to CS3 (domino effect) on iMac 24" 2.8 MHz. Now I find that when I try to print to my HP7960 with Photoshop managing color the color is off. If I let the printer manage color it looks OK. It appear that when I select Photoshop management I'm getting a double dose of profiles.
There is a message saying to disable the printer driver in the printer dialog but I can find no such dialog. When I access "Driver" in the Printer / Fax system preferences the 7960 is grayed out and no information is displayed. I'm guessing that screen is for Postscript printers.
I've already searched and found that HP claims all the necessary drivers are installed in Leopard, and the 7960 is on the list of those supported. But nowhere can I find how to disable the driver when printing from Photoshop.
Any suggestions?
