Leopard iCal: making edit popups bigger?

I use my iCal as a journal to keep track of what I've been doing, and I put a lot of material into the "note" section. But the popup you get when you double-click on an entry for editing is pretty narrow. Is there any way to make it bigger so I have more space to edit text with?
