Leopard iChat question

So we've all seen the backdrops that are in the new iChat. My question is if you do a video chat with someone who isn't running the Leopard iChat, will they be able to see a backdrop if you use one? Obviously they wouldn't be able to use it for themselves, and I assume that they could because I would think that it's all just part of the outgoing video stream from your Mac, but just wondering if anyone can confirm this.

i was video chatting with somebody running tiger this morning. they can see the video backdrops and the effects.
