I have a Blackbook with Leopard 10.5.2 installed and ICS enabled. Its IP assigned by DHCP is 192.168.24.51.

We also have a windows machine with XP Home SP2 that connects wirelessly to my macbook to share the internet connection to our router. Its IP, again by DHCP, is 10.0.2.4.

The ICS worked with this setup up until a few days ago, when the windows machine randomly stopped loading web pages. File sharing between the two still works fine, but the windows machine seems to only begin loading a web page, then stop.

I've tried disabling (and uninstalling) all firewalls, messing with IPFW, as well as disabling WEP encryption. The windows machine can connect through a direct ethernet connection, but we only have three available and four machines.

Normally I'd try to mess around with the router settings, but I can't connect to 192.168.24.1 even though ping works. However, I can access 192.168.24.2, which _looks_ like a router page (I can't read a single word; it's in Japanese) but not the router's IP address.

Just for clarification here's my network setup where ---- represents a regular phone line and the === is an ethernet cable:

phone cord outlet in wall ----- something-I-don't-know ===== network hub, maybe? ===== macbook, two thinkpads, VOIP thing ----- VOIP phone

and of course, the macbook to the other windows machine (also a thinkpad) via wireless.

Sorry if that was a bit confusing.. what could I try in order to make web browsing work again on the windows machine? appreciate any help :)
