Finally got Leopard last night (they were even still giving away t-shirts with it).
I'd earlier bought a new HDD for my MacBook and popped it in an external and cloned tiger over. Put the new HDD in the lappy and it booted and all was good. When I put the leopard install DVD in, it refused to install on the cloned drive as it had to be reformatted as GUID. So out went the upgrade and it was a clean install after all. Not that it's an issue but anybody know why it wouldn't work as it was booting Tiger fine?
So clean installed Leopard and didn't bother trying migration assistant as it says it's FW only (I tried it later and it seems it does work with USB
)
Anyway - have got everything over from the old drive except address book and ical stuff. Could anybody tell me where they are hidden so I can get them? I think I've managed to sort my mailboxes.
