Holy Cow.

First, the verification of the Leopard DVD took forever (20 minutes?). Now, the install of Leopard is taking a REALLY long time. Is this normal?

I have a 3Ghz Mac Pro. I just installed a new 1TB drive (Seagate SATA 7200.11 Barracuda) beside my existing 500GB drive where I have Tiger. I partitioned the 1TB drive into 4 equal partitions (one for Leopard, one for XP and one for Vista, and a spare).

Is it my config?

It's not always accurate. It can say 1 hour and 40 minutes now and you might return in 30 minutes to find that it's nearly finished.
