Am I the only one who feels like October is moving by pretty fast and still no new OS?

I think it will be delayed yet again!

Release may not be October, but the shipping announcement may well be.

This just means waiting a couple of more weeks, since the shipping announcement is 7-14 days before the first mass shipments hit.

If they were going to slip back another month or two I think they would have told us by now. I am sure the iPhone is still taking up a lot of their time, but they probably moved as many people as possible to the 10.5 project to get it out on time.

I think it is because we weren't overly happy with the 2 keynotes on Leopard. And we haven't been keep up to date on all the new features. While Time Machine is the major selling point for me. We feel that we should bet getting more especially with the delay. I was hoping for some virtualization technology, that is embedded with the OS, to allow more efficient virtualization.

You are the only one. It will be released Friday October 26 as I have said for months.

I am with Multimedia, the 26th it is!

I also don't think we will get an announcement and then shipping after Oct.

Announcement of the 26th anyday now and in stores on the 26th. There will not be an announcement with a trickle into stores afterwards.
