Im a first time Mac user, that has been running Tiger since I recieved my MBP in Sept, and I loved it. I got an UTD install from Apple, but was reluctant to install it because of all the slander on
's .0 updates., but I recently gave in and installed it on to my external harddrive to test it out, and it blew my mind. It really is faster. I like the dock WAY more than I expected, and the Spaces feature is great. I even like Stacks, but I can see why people dislike it. My only gripes are with Front Row (the boring fade to black sequence lol, and the lack of resume video playing) Being that im just a newbie to Mac's, I cant really tell what they took away from Tiger besides the obvious, but I love Leopard so much that Im going to install it over Tiger soon as the update comes, when I was originally plannig to wait till the .2 or .3. Just thought I would post a Pro Leopard thread to help balance out all of the bad ones. My installation went smooth by the way, and I have yet to witness bugs/ crashes/ or slow downs in graphic animations. Im running a MBP c2d with 160 gb with 4 gbs of ram, while booting Leopard from a 320 gb Seagate USB 2.0 EX Hardrive.
