Leopard - Just a question about the installation

I have lots of important files on my HD and I wonder if I choose the Archive and Install option my files would be saved or deleted. Please someone help me to figure it out. Thx!!!

If you do Archive and Install there is a checkbox to keep user accounts. Provided all your files are within your Users folder then it should not be a problem. Worked fine for me. All files and application settings came right across no problem - though I had things like applications and iTunes library in the default locations.

As always - the best thing to do is have everything backed up to be on the safe side.
