ok so I am considering getting newsfire but I have a question-has anyone who has tried leopard tried the rss reader in mail-if so how is it? I ask because I do not want to buy a reader now and then find out that the mail rss reader is better.

any comments are appreciated

thanks

Well not all of them

Why don't you consider some free alternative such as Vienna until someone answers or Leopard is released.

All of us developers are under NDA, we wont talk. Especially not here.

sorry I did not know that they were-

thanks for the replies-i have tried several others but i just didnt like them for whatever reason-i guess i really like the interface in newsfire

According to Apple.com:
Subscribe to an RSS feed in Mail and you’ll know the moment an article or blog post hits the wire. Even better, you can choose to have new articles emailed to you. Sorting your news is easy, too. Use Smart Mailboxes to organize incoming news articles according to search terms that pique your interest. Mail shares its unread RSS feed count with Safari, so your reading list always stays in sync.
You can see how it works in the demo video: http://www.apple.com/macosx/leopard/features/mail.html
