Leopard mail activity side window not showing activity (screenshot attached)

I was really looking forward to the new front-window mail activity display in Leopard Mail, as I use IMAP and get a lot of mail (and it takes time to process).

But Leopard Mail isn't showing any activity. If I view the old activity window, all the details are in there.

Bugged?

It works fine for me but I have a POP3 account (gmail hasn't updated my account to give the IMAP option yet). In fact, it's great to finally know if it's actually been sent or not as the audio clue is sometimes 30 sec to one minute late.
