Installed the GM final version of Lion.
It needs getting used to, overall it is fairly the same, but lacks the visual aspect of Leopard. No coloured icons in Finder / little buttons for minimize etc / some incompatible software : Candybar needs version 3.3 for Lion 10.7, which came out today. Canon printer software complains about incompatibility. All other programs work. What is MUCH better is Apple Mail. Finally with the looks and feel of Outlook. Strange behaviour of iLife '11 which install image from another partition kept popping up for install?? Internet speed by Airport really MUCH higher for me . Changed 50% up. Scrollbars nearly gone. Firefox has minor changes but is better overall. iDefrag won't boot into defrag mode !!!
Shame Lion is less colourfull then Leopard overall. I myself do all icons by Candybar and Cryo64 Mac icons. Upgrading to Lion is not a matter of money ( € 27 ),but rather a matter of taste.
