Leopard Preloaded In October?

I'm starting to get confused.

I see a ton of people saying "I'm holding out until October so I can get a Mac with Leopard." I always thought that Apple started preloaded a new major release of OS X between a month after release to January?

I'm sure Leopard won't be preloaded the day it's released like people make it out. What about those Tiger units in the warehouses?

once leopard starts shipping, new macs might not have leopard preloaded, but they'll throw in the discs for leopard for you to upgrade. they did this with tiger, panther, jaguar, etc.
