hi all,
i have had leopard installed since friday and have used time machine since then. i have two questions, i have two little issues with leopard so far....one is that the system pref that makes you enter your password when awaking from sleep and/or a screen saver also seems to re-check itself everytime i turn on the computer, and a similar issue with a certain app with the firewall....even though its marked off as an allowed app inthe sys pref, the first time i always use the app, it asks me if i want to allow it.....so my 1st question is, if i were to do a clean reinstall of leopard...does anyone think that will fix these issues? second....there are some apps and stuff like my iphoto and itunes library....if i do a clean install, and then plug in my external HD with the old time machine backups, will i be able to restore that stuff off of there, or will time machine reformat all that stuff when its turned on for the first time under the new clean install?
thanks
brent
