I'm resigned to the fact that Leopard will be released as late as possible this month, which is typical for Apple lately. What I want to know is this: when will Apple announce Leopard's release date? There are less than 4 weeks left before the end of the month and less than three weeks left before the rumored release date of the 26th. How long before release dates does Apple usually make these announcements?

Two weeks before I think.

If you do need it right away I would order from the apple site. Amazon sometimes takes weeks to get new apple stuff.
