How many other .Mac subscribers received the email a few weeks ago about the special event coming up the week of June 11? Apple has rarely been so obvious in telegraphing their intention: the background of the email--the TimeMachine theme--was as big a hint that Leopard will be released at this event as I've ever seen. I'm a bit surprised that there's still so little mention of this. Perhaps I'm hopelessly naïve, but I'm not expecting Leopard a day before June 11: it gives Apple some time to work out the remaining bugs, it gives them time to release some hardware at the same time they announce a Leopard release date, and it fits within their stated shipping timeframe (I'm conveniently ignoring the AppleTV).

This special event is WWDC which takes place every year. It's from June 11 - 15. http://developer.apple.com/wwdc/
