Anyone else having problems with screen artifacts (especially when scrolling in safari)?

I just installed on a DP 2ghz G5. I have the retail 9600 ATI Radeon 256mb.

I get screen artifacts constantly especially when scrolling in safari.

Really need to fix this as I'm a graphics professional and this is my work computer.

Thanks.

Well for me i have the ACD 30" and Quad G5 with 7300GT video card. And i saw lots of blue artifacts on my screen. I went to the Video Resolution prefs, and changed from millions of colors to thousands. Then back to millions of colors.. and it seems to be fine now.

Strangely enough, i can't switch it to thousands of colors...

Only millions appears in the drop down menu. Very odd.

Seems the artifact only happens under where he mouse cursor is.

And it happens in all apps.

I somewhat figured it out...

The Radeon 9600 Retail version does not work with Leopard apparently.

I swapped in the old OEM card that came with the computer (which only works 50% of the time for some reason on the DVI port) and when i got it to boot the artifacts were gone. So apparently its a driver issue.
