Leopard Shipping

I just pre-ordered Leopard from the Apple UK website, and it says "shipping on or before 26th October".

From past experience, would you say that I will actually have it ON launch day (26th), like Amazon tends to do with new releases? Or, with it not being released until 6pm, will I have to wait until Monday?

It will most likely arrive on the 26th, but I'm not sure if that applies to international orders. In the US, the orders are marked with "Priority Overnight", and the cutoff for orders to arrive on the 26th is the 24th at midnight.

For Tiger, I ordered it the day it was pre-released and it got to me at about 3pm the day it was released, even though TNT said they would not be able to deliver it.

Hehe, hope so! Although, as of tonight my "estimated shipping date" has changed from "On or before Oct 26th" to "Oct 26th"...hmm, fingers crossed! Would love it for the weekend.

For Tiger I Pre-Ordered And It Arrived About 10AM Friday Morning FedEx

Everyone who pre-ordered should have it before the retail stores start selling it. But Academic stores who ordered and get stock Thursday will start selling it Friday morning. That's how I plan to have it before I arrive at the Palo Alto Store about 2PM.
