Every night I put my iMac to sleep. I did this with Tiger and I am now doing it with Leopard. I have two cats that like to get on my desk sometimes and will accidentally hit a key and turn the mac on. In Tiger I had it set to require a password before waking up, if a password was not entered in a minute or two it would go back to sleep. I have attempted this same setting in Leopard, but I get a different result. Now when my cat accidentally steps on a key, the mac asks for a password and if one is not given it starts the screen saver and continues to run throughout the night. This happens even though I have it set to never use the screen saver. I should also note that I have it set to never put the computer to sleep when it is inactive and I also had it set like this in Tiger. Has anyone had this problem or does anyone have a solution to this issue?
