Have to agree with "fake"
Too much anger

I think Apple would be more subtle

Have any of the other Apple incarnations shown a face?

The headline is wrong too.

"A Leopard never changes its spots"... but leopards do. I think.

When I clicked for a full sized pic I almost jumped out of my seat. Holy bejesus that's one mean cat. Not Apple. Maybe Rob Zombie's Halloween invite, but definetly not Apple's WWDC.

From Travel Adventures for Kids:

"No, leopards can't change their spots but every leopard has a distinct spot-pattern the way that fingerprints identify individual people. Scientists say that a leopard's face spots are almost as distinctive as human facial features. Some leopards called black panthers are almost all black but you can still see their spots."

It has to be correct, who would lie to children?

While the leopard may not be "Apple-like", it's still a cool image of a leopard.

And with the headline, not sure if it's true or not, but it doesn't totally makes sense to me nor apply to OS X. Maybe it's changing it's "spots" by being able to run on Intel....?

i highly doubt they put a leapoard on the advertisment
look and see how many Jaguars, Panthers & Tigers you find on apple adds

its just not apple's style

fake fake

If the release timeline proves to be true (late '06 early '07), the head to head of Leopard vs. Long"delay"horn should be fun to watch.

Also, I don't believe Apple ever uses negative words like 'never' in their advertising campaign. I believe using negative words is a no-no in marketing. That's what they taught at school anyway.

Anywho, I think we've shot this photo to bits. :p

It's not an advertising campaign, though. It's an invitation to WWDC 2006. But with an image that ferocious, who would want to attend?
