gday all,
just a quick observation i have made. its pretty obvious, but Leopard is incredibly more stable that Tiger in respect to leaving the computer on for extended periods of time. my mbp has gone 23days without been turned off, ive logged out 3 times to refresh RAM and what not.
i have been doing some pretty intense work on it, i run folding on it constantly and its been running pretty hot, ive been using parallels constantly with 2 VM's set up as im trying to expand my knowledge on 03' server, ive been making HD movies, running constant backups with timemachine, ripping a lot of DVD's and some random other things.
compared to Tiger this is amazing. i have had some hiccups where the computer has slowed down to a crawl from MTR and such because of a bug, but the computer did not stop working.
Leopard is really something, i would have never imagined it would be this big of an increase compared to tiger. leopard is practically unbreakable so far.....
anyways thats my $0.0000002 lol
