Hi,
So pretty self explanatory, my Leopard System sounds aren't playing. These are things like deleting something when you hear the trash sound, like crumpled paper, and Poofs when removing bookmarks and stuff like that. I know it is not just that checkbox that says "Play User Interface Sounds" because that is checked off (See photo). Any ideas? I know on my girlfriend's MacBook it plays fine, and even on my old G4, but now that I think of it, these sounds never played. Any ideas? Not that it's a huge deal, just I would like to have them merely for personal preference.

Edit: If photo doesn't show up... http://picasaweb.google.com/ryanwils/Screenshot?authkey=hNFkcNFGGm8#5249743662988290466

Edit2: Just as I finished posting this, deleted the screenshot... and voila, system noises. Problem solved! Oddly....

In Preferences, Sounds, do you have other Output options e.g. a USB sound device? Try switching from speakers to line out and back
