i have leopard and tiger installed on 2 seperate internal HDs. i'm considering using migration assistant, but i'm really not sure what to expect. does anyone have some links to some good "to the point" reading about what it will and won't do?
if i do migrate my account over how will it merge w/my leopard account?
i'm considering just using aliases to my tiger applications folder since it seems leopard will just keep its own pref files anyway. why install 2 instances of an app right??
i have a seperate post about merging itunes librarys to be identical, idk if MA will do it for me?
i would also like my firefox3 and safari bookmarks to come over to leopard also. maybe its asking to much but it would be great if they would stay in sync. ie if i bookmark a page while in leopard it would show up automatically in tiger. probly cant make that happen though right?
what will MA do for mail?
