Leopard to Lion

If I have Snow Leopard, how in the world am i supposed to download mountain lion with out the app store

Snow Leopard (10.6.6 and higher) has the Mac App Store. If that was a typo, and you meant Leopard (10.5), you will first have to get a copy of SL. Then, from SL, you can get Mountain Lion from the App Store.

You can order SL from Apple over the phone for $20.
