So, my Leopard installs have gone swimmingly so far. Did the big one last night on my main Mac and no problems to speak of.

One thing I've noticed though - the Applications folder on the Leopard install DVD has had the invisible attribute bit set. Thus, you can't pop the disc in and (easily) navigate to the Utilities subfolder to run or copy the Firmware Password Utility like you can with Tiger (and that Apple's KB article on it says you should). Wonder why they've made that change? There's no updated KB article on it that I can find yet.

The Leopard utility is version 1.4.3, whereas Tiger's is 1.3. I presume the new version can work with both PowerPC Open Firmware as well as Intel EFI. I think, but may well be wrong, that Tiger's was dependent on whether it came on an Intel or PowerPC compiled Tiger install disc?
