I notice in thunderbird the search function is alot better... In mail.app i search for things that i know thats there but it doesn't show up..... How come? I'm about to switch to thunderbird on leopard unless they just fixed leopards search email function so its better then tigers? anyone know?

Mail does the job for me. It is integrated with iPhone and more and more over time with iCal. Totally integrated with AddressBook.
add SpamSieve and it's a fine app

I used to use Thunderbird all the time on my Windows machine but ever since October 2007, I've been using Mail.app on my mac and haven't gone back since. Mostly because of the integration with with iCal and my iPhone. It's just that as of lately, Mail has been very buggy and always crashing. Sometimes I have to send the same email twice if not three times because it fails to send. I'm completely fed up with it. Can someone post some fair comparisons?
