I went through all the Apps on my iPhone last night, removed the ones that I didn't really use that much and just kept the ones that I use at least once a week. In total, I removed about 8 apps. Surprisingly, my phone seems to run quicker and smoother, and Safari has yet to crash on me.

Anyone else experience better performance out of their phone with less apps installed?

yep same for me on 2.1 with about 7 less apps i am so far crash free

(oh yeah its mostly the crappy free apps or the iBeer / iMilk apps that are low quality and cause crashing)

I dont know,

I have fourteen apps on my 16Gig and it seems to be fine.
The interface is a bit sticky sometimes but not too much
or too often. I think thats a different issue though.
