Less than 12 days until return window is up. Will Apple issue update before then?

So Apple has promised an update to fix iPhone 4 issues. Meanwhile, if you bought iPhone 4 on release day, you have until July 24 to return it without penalty, which is less than 12 days away.

So do you think Apple is going to issue an update in time for you to return the phone or are you a cynic that says that Apple will not until AFTER the return window is up so you can't return the phone without penalty.

My guess is yes. Since tomorrow is "Update Tuesday" it could be tomorrow.
