My 2011 MBP lasted 12 days:
15-inch
2.0 GHz
2.0GHz quad-core
Intel Core i7
4GB 1333MHz
500GB 5400-rpm1
Intel HD Graphics 3000
AMD Radeon HD 6490M with 256MB GDDR5
I decided to return it for:
15-inch: 2.2 GHz
2.2GHz quad-core
Intel Core i7
4GB 1333MHz
750GB 5400-rpm1
Intel HD Graphics 3000
AMD Radeon HD 6750M with 1GB GDDR5
1. I've alway used Microsoft based systems. After using the MPB for 12 days I decided to take advantage of the exchange policy and upgrade. THe primary usage for this MBP will be photos and I thought the larger HDD and better graphic configuration would be best for what I'm using it for.
I also bought a 2T backup external HDD, 23.5 LED screen, keypad and trackpad to be used as a docking station when working at home. Having owned the Mac's for less than two weeks, I'm amazed at how User friendly it is and the learning curve is not as difficult as I thought is was going to be. It's a very robust Laptop that will last a long time.
I'm really looking forward to the hardware development for the Thunderbolt port. Apple does an excellent job in design.
That's All Folk's.
Regards
Chuck
