I registered a week or two ago here at MacRumors.com. Since then , my computer behavior has never been the same. I'm here alot and let me just tell you guys how much I love it here. I love the people and the discussions and I can't get enough of it. Very cool forums and I have had and will be having alot of fun here ;) I would like to thank you moderaters for their ongoing work on this forum and I would like to welcome the newbies that just registered here.

In all seriousness though I think it is great that you feel you can post such a thread. Welcome to the forums and hope you keep the innovate posts up.
 
Glad you like it here. I've been in and out of other computer Forums quite a bit over the years, and I've found this one to be well-managed and moderated, and it seems to attract decent folks.
 
I agree, SXR... The last forum I used died... It was crap TBH... MacRumors rocks! Also lots of Apple people here! (Just realized how stupid and obvious that is... Ah well...) :rolleyes::D

I do like that most disagreements are handled relatively well. People argue their points without namecalling and insults, which is so rare with all the keyboard commandos in the world now...
 
SXR - Welcome! Did you say you were also a new Mac user or just new to MR? If both, then you really have a lot of fun ahead. This site is awesome, but using a Mac with Tiger or Leopard is godly. Good times await you, as there are a great variety of topics and truely fantastic people here. A lot of love to go around.

Im saving up for a MacBook ;) But I will get a mac somewhere soon!
 
Yeah, I like Macrumors too. I think it is diametrically opposite to the ankle-biting, slobbering, gibbering, drooling, blithering, buffoonish imbecilic nimrods who are so attracted to commenting on YouTube videos. I don't think I've ever witnessed such as single vast collection of speech impediments on a single site as I have seen on YouTube. I'd say the IQ level here is a few dozen points higher...
