I let time machine format the drive(wanted it too I specifically chose fat as the format so it would format it with the best option) but I haven't read of time machine using Case-Sensitive is it normal for it to? Could it cause any issues? I imagine it wouldnt' really cause any problems but wanted to make sure before it copies 180 gigs of data.

Thanks.

if you're worried, just go to disk utility and format it yourself. but I don't see how it could make a difference. a problem could happen if your main drive IS case sensitive and the TM backup drive is NOT case sensitive. that could be bad... but since the TM backup is case sensitive, i don't see where a problem could occur. is your main drive case sensitive?
