What is going on here?? Apple is fortunate enough to have 1.7 million people and counting buy their phone. There are 2 major flaws right now with the phone and 1 they won't address at all. In fact, both they won't address. I don't know to believe any of these 'email postings.'
1. Proximity Sensor: Apple.. Let us know whether this can be fixed or not. I am sick of it. This is a phone first.. right? So why can't I talk on the phone (normally) without having to worry about hitting facetime, end, mute, etc?? Just let us know please. We deserve to know because without us, you have no iPhone.
2. Antenna problems: Personally.. I put a case on mine so its all ok.. But there are other issues that Jobs' has mentioned - or at least I think he has. The iPhone 4 is not switching fast enough from tower to tower causing me interruptions in Pandora.
The place i work at has low service inside the building. I can get 3-4 bars of 3G but its not constant. With my iPhone 3g, I could still listen to Pandora and it work perfect. But now with the iPhone 4.. It starts off good for about 20 seconds, then completely quits. I look at the phone and have like 3 bars.. but it says it lost connection. I think because it is in my pocket (just like the 3g phone was).. its reception gets lower and tries to change to another tower, but is slow in doing so - therefor causing my connection to drop with Pandora.
Is it too much to ask for some kind of press release on the issues?
