Let us know when Quads are in the stores

When anyone sees that the Quads are in the stores, please post.

I have a C2D 27 and would like to go see in person in the Quads are much faster. I still have time to swap up.

Want to see them in person and don't want to bother trekking in until the Quads are in but I do want to go as SOON as they are in.

Does anyone think the i7 will be sold in the stores. I notice that it's a BTO option on the Apple site off of the i5 branch. Usually this means not in stores.

Any opinions (or facts)?

Not in stores since its BTO.

Much faster at what exactly?

Are you going to bring a stopwatch in and do some real world tests on the things *you* do everyday?

Or just some random benchmark on things you might not ever do?

Im not sure what all the fuss is about...

Some stores might carry them. A local Apple store carries a Quad 2.93 Mac Pro with upgraded ram, hard drive and video card. Definitely not the base model. I would suspect some Apple stores would have a few i7's.
