Found this rather neat app called LetMeKnow. Is there an Alternative? The guy appears to be running the monitor server off a Road Runner residential line. Hence I wouldn't be able to count on it working.

What I'm really interested in is the RSS feed alerts.

I don't know of any alternatives that do all that this app does.. but for RSS feeds there is RSSPush. I've never tried it so I don't know how good it is.

I'll be moving into a data center soon - didn't want to lock that in until I had a chance to see how well the app does. It's actually road runner business class (>20 Mbit connection), interesting whois says residential - I'll have to look into that.
