Let's get this straight... (3GS 4.0 Jailbreak)

Hi,

Sorry if this is getting really redundant but I've gotten contradicting responses from literally every thread I look at..

I updated my jailbroken 3GS to 4.0 this morning, is there any way to jailbreak it? According to many posts I've seen, Redsn0w 0.9.5 only works for the GM Seed and not the Official 4.0 release so I may be SOL here. I would really love some clarification or an alternate solution to get my jailbreak back.

iPhone dev team seem to indicate a JB will be released very shortly that will work regardless of your updated baseband / firmware.

Give it a few days.

^ Yep.

Looks like they have just confirmed regardless of if you have updated. You should be able to Jailbreak with their forthcoming release.
