Let's say I have a PowerMac G4 400 Gigabit Ethernet and $400-$500.. what to do?

Hello all. You have all been very helpful as I have been attempting to get a nice little PM together for myself. Here is where it looks like I will be. A deal is in the works for me to aquire a G4 400Mhz PowerMac Gigabit Ethernet model and I was going to upgrade the CPU and graphics card. What would be the best CPU and graphics to put in the system for $400 to $500? Can anyone direct me to a site that can be trusted and with good prices? I would prefer not use ebay as well. Any opinions or reccomendations would be greatly appreciated as well. Thanks

you can do it for under 300 if you go with the pwerlogix G4 1ghz and an ati radeon 9000

Make your cpu G4 1 GHz and get a Rad 96/98. Also get another HDD and you will have a kick ass machine.

About 430. Gives you a 1 GHz G4 and a Radeon 9800, which makes one hell of a mac. CPU could probably be OC'ed if you installed a better heatsink and some Artic Silver 3 and a fan, and the card can be OC'ed too. Use the rest of the money for a HD or RAM.
